MiniMiser Framework 0.2.1 alpha released

Version 0.2.1 (formerly 0.3.0) of the MiniMiser Framework is released.

This is a smaller release than previously, since I've spent most of the iteration learning Scala.

Goals for MiniMiser 0.3.0

The next release of MiniMiser, 0.3.0 is due on June 21st, and although this iteration is the longest in the release schedule, I've also been busy grokking Scala, so only a small update this time:

  • Update to the latest Quaqua look and feel library for Mac OS X

MiniMiser Framework 0.2.0 alpha is released

Development continues apace with the second release of The MiniMiser Framework, version 0.2.0 alpha.

The focus for this release has been on improving the framework user guide, completing the menu building subsystem, and a refresh of some of the core technologies used by the framework.

Goals for MiniMiser 0.2.0

Following the release of 0.1.0, development continues, with the focus being continuing with Menu Building, and a Technology Refresh.

MiniMiser Framework 0.1.0 alpha is released

Today I launch the first alpha release of The MiniMiser Framework, a Java-based framework for developing embedded-database-backed desktop applications.

Although version 0.1.0 is an alpha release, with several key features unfinished, it is proving to be an effective base on which to build its sample application.

Please see the project page in the developer area for more information! You'll find a short overview of its capabilities so far in the change history.

Onwards to version 0.2.0 to be released on 30th April.
